Harela festival 2025

Across all districts of Uttarakhand, the Harela festival was celebrated with a massive tree plantation drive. Polling booths and government offices turned green as thousands of saplings were planted, symbolizing our commitment to protect nature and nurture our future.
Along with planting trees, citizens took a pledge to protect democracy by casting their vote. The unique initiative by the Chief Electoral Office combines environmental conservation with voter awareness, reminding everyone that, Every plant nurtures life, and every vote strengthens the Nation.
