Best Electoral Practices for year 2022

On National Voters’ Day, Hon’ble President presented National Awards for Best Electoral Practices for the year 2022. A total of 13 awardees were felicitated for outstanding performance in the conduct of elections during 2022 in different spheres.
Special Award for EVM VVPAT security measure innovation was awarded to Sh. Mastu Das Asst. CEO, Uttarakhand for making special efforts to carry EVMs and VVPATs in inaccessible rugged terrains. Good quality bags were designed to carry these machines to tough locations.
